As a homeowner, you’re probably all too keenly aware of how obnoxious a drain clog can be. Drain clogs are frustrating because not only are they unclean and a pain to try and work around, but they can also damage drain lines through additional pressure and cracking or even corrosion. But what if several drains are all clogged at once? What if all of your drains are moving slow? This is a sign that you have a more serious blockage problem in either a larger drain line or your sewer main itself. In the past, this type of problem used to be a nightmare to solve, but today it’s far easier thanks to a powerful modern cleaning technique known as hydro jetting.

If you have backed up drains or a blockage in your sewer line, call Waldrop Plumbing – Heating – Air at (864) 536-0887 and schedule your Greenville hydro jetting service today.

Call Waldrop Today for All Your Home Service Needs.

You can probably figure out exactly what hydro jetting is just from the name. The process uses a super high-pressure jet of water to obliterate obstructions and blockages in drain and sewer lines. This process is fast, safe, and extremely effective at eliminating virtually any type of blockage in drains and sewer lines of all different sizes. In fact, our plumbing experts can service drain lines as narrow as less than one inch to as large as four inches in size.
The hydro jetting process begins with your plumber conducting a video camera inspection of your drain or sewer line in order to find the blockage and determine what it’s made of. They will also take stock of the condition of your drain or sewer line and determine whether or not the line is capable of withstanding a hydro jetting service. As long as everything is okay, the cleaning can begin.
The cleaning process is easy: your plumber feeds a specialized jetting tool into your drain either through an access port or through the end of your sewer line itself. They slowly feed the tool up the line, allowing the jets to wipe out any sort of scale or debris that may be stuck in the line. The jets also simultaneously wash the debris away down the line, leaving the line clean and clear. Once the tool reaches the blockage, your plumber carefully and thoroughly blasts away the entire clog, ensuring that the issue is fully resolved. Once everything is clean, the tool is removed and your drains should be moving smoothly once again!

Hydro jetting is considerably better for your home or business than just about any other form drain cleaning service. Here are a few reasons why you should schedule a hydro jetting service the next time you face a blockage:
